New Safety Guidelines to Re-open for Fall 2020

WABI-5 news story featuring the Newman Center

After closing in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Newman Center has re-opened for the Fall 2020 semester, with safety guidelines to adhere to all state of Maine, CDC, and University of Maine protocols.

”One of the things that’s important is that this place is not just a church. It’s not just a place for worship. It’s a place for the community. That’s what we want to do for our students is continue providing that place. So, keeping this as normal as we can during this time is important, especially in terms of fostering these community events,” says our Chaplain, Fr. Kyle Doustou.
